What is it about refereeing that you enjoy: The volleyball community and the friendships I’ve made from refereeing :) 

Your favourite memory or story: Watching USports Women’s Nationals at UBC and meeting and learning from referees from all across Canada.

A tough moment you experienced and how you overcame it: At my second tournament, I made a mistake and right after the match, one of the coaches yelled across the court at me and angrily walked up to the referee stand to question my decision. As a new referee, it was quite an unsettling experience but I was able to talk to some senior officials about the incident and learned about what I could do differently if a similar situation occurred again.
